About The Artwork

The mind is the greatest part of man that makes man a superior being than any other being, enabling the man to choose between right and wrong. Choosing right or wrong has to do with many factors but all balls down to thinking it out first in any given situation, and the mind is the equating result for it to be applied right or wrong after series of assessment of the muted echo that surfaces in the mind, because of a past or present situation. The art piece pictures a man assessing mute echoes in a depressed situation, and further shows the application of that which he chose from the echoes in his mind, but what most men in any situation fail to critically reason out most times is the final destination of any applied thought, for every reality began with a thought, and an assessment of muted echoes in the mind. The art piece is also seen by the artist to be what the Yoruba calls “Abamieda”, which note or call viewers attention to the fact that before you act, think through properly of the merit and demerit of the destination.
