About The Artwork

This artwork is one of three parts of the triptych, called "Japanese motives" . For lovers of Japanese art and Japanese culture. Here is a samurai battle. And the battle is interpreted here more as a dance or theatrical performance than a terrible carnage. My work was inspired by the stunning films of Akira Kurosawa. I love humor, I love to laugh in general and in this work I also sketched out some funny moments. For example: some patterns on the heroes' kimonos, a European fork and spoon on the leg of the third samurai from the left, and so on. If you carefully examine the details of this picture, you will find a lot of interesting things.
