About The Artwork
This hybrid polymorphic portrait was created under the strong influence of African art and cubism. It is a consequence of merging and combining the aesthetics of primitivism and tradition of western composition in painting. The deformed, free, caricatured, imagined form is the result of the fusion of figuration and associative abstraction. Phantasmagoric portrait was created with the desire to surprise, disturb, intrigue, provoke. The hand records the heat and strength of the inner storm. This portrait with a black spirit under the influence of Picasso's and Munch's creativity actually celebrates African sculpture.
