They say a seed of Katakokombe was taken by night under the rain to the Katanga. They say the seed was thrown into the ground and a tree germinated from it. They say it is a tree with blood on its roots, full of inserted shining metal on its trunks and mutilated dancing human bodies along its leaves. They say the tree was put down and poured with acid to eliminate its history and memory. They say the tree brought people together as a republic of hope and happiness.
