What inspired this drawing I created was a widower I saw in a church, giving me the concept. A photograph, the realism. I hope people who enjoy this drawing will be inspired by God's love for the downtrodden and brokenhearted. To me, pencil was the simplest way to capture the concept directly without omission of any kind.
