About The Artwork
Time passes, things change, but memories will always stay where they are, in our hearts. The poppy flower’s significance to Remembrance Day is a result of military physician John Mccrae’s poem in Flanders field (which is found in Belgium, horrific trenches of World War 1) The Red poppy flower emblem was chosen because of the red poppies that bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War 1.

Hi Everyone , Thank you for viewing my profile ! Ps i am still new ..... #Drawing/sketching as a hobby ! The art movement which has influenced my artwork is surrealism can explore the unconscious mind as a way of creating art, resulting in dreamlike sometimes bizzaring across different images combined .the surrealistic imagery would appear to be irrational but rational at the same time, mostly happens in our dream world. The motifs which I used were butterflies – who was a caterpillar buried in a cocoon for a length of time and emerged in a new life, offering the hope of new life, as well as notions of femininity being represented through the flowers images.
