About The Artwork
This is an urban sketch made with dry twigs and chinese ink at Tsukiji, the fish market in Tokyo. I think the free drawing and color splashes were the best way to show the dynamic fish market. The drawing is made on rough watercolor paper by Saunders Waterford, glued on an aluminium plate including hanging hardware and aluminium reinforcement. This way of hanging make the drawing "float" against the wall.
