ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Utilizing traditional draftsman’s tools — gridded notebook paper and pens — this is an exploration in which I started to acknowledge the bounds of the paper. Previous artworks used a tiling approach, creating a crop of an endless pattern. In this series I start at the outermost area and work my way in and around the paper.
