Kavita Sarin Dass offers a poignant, cross- cultural lens into everyday resilience. If you're drawn to art that balances authenticity, emotion, and cultural storytelling, hers is a style worth exploring further! Kavita is a British Indian artist who grew up in Himachal Pradesh, the Himalayan state in India. She now lives in Britain. Ever since her childhood she has displayed her creativity. Kavita learnt to paint from the age of 12 from Mr D.J Prim a local artist in India. Thereafter she has been largely a self taught artist. She also went on to study textile design, both the Print form and the weaving techniques. Her paintings have been gaining attention and she has successfully sold some work both in India, the United kingdom and the USA. An accomplished artist she takes on art commissions for individuals and Hotels and other organisations and will often work on Murals depending on the subject. Her work explores the simplicity of life that we see around us - the images that hide behind them the beauty and the ugliness, the conflict and the resolution, the struggles and the enslavement the experience and the realization, that we all experience in our lives. She says' "The simple moments in life..and just life...that is what I paint...each one of us is a saga and a struggle and a triumph...the strangers that we are to each other...that is life!" Kavita ivery popular collection is 'SNOWFLAKES' where she painted life in Britain under snow-its both beautiful and authentic.
