I was born 1985 (Sofia, Bulgaria) in a very artistic family. From an early age I was encouraged to pursue piano, singing, dancing and in 1999 began to study fine arts. In 2004 I moved to South Africa and shortly after that I traveled to Buenos Aires to study Argentine Tango and I'm currently performing Tango professionally in South Africa. Dancing has influenced my artwork in many ways, exploring the dynamic between stillness and movement as well as my desire to create stories. I find the complexity and controversy of human personality fascinating, which is why my favorite subject to draw and paint is people.
