Yellow love dots Drawing

This is one of my abstract pieces of art. I used mainly yellow and pink markers and coloured pencils for this work. The gestural marks might be reminiscent of Cy Twombly's work and recently I have started to enjoy making dots, maybe a bit like Yayoi Kusama. I have a genetic disorder, a deletion of a small, random part of my 8th chromosome which makes it hard for me to hold a pen and learn new things. My outlook on life and my personal experiences are expressed in my mark making. This work was made on Hahnemuehle Bamboo mixed media paper which has a slightly textured rough surface and is quite heavy paper with a weight of 265g/m2.
