About The Artwork
As a kid I always felt special. My mates thought I felt I was superior to them because I was away from them but the truth is I respected them a lot, I only felt different. So most times I was forced to relate with them and be be social. Thus I have to wear a mask always but this time the mask didn't only keep me from doing and acting the way I love but rather it covered my eyes. Thus "They never really see me". My goal with this piece was to portray that feeling when I'm forced to be who I don't want to be.
