a poem tells a story and a glimpse of it or maybe whole you can see in a drawing: that old house in a wasteland far away in America wasn’t entered by no one for some time even the spiders having brought inside all of the luck people left it to nobody or maybe died in this house nothing good inside greased rusty rake and a fork sandy little arm of a doll in the grass no dog no cat nor a cow not a sight just a faded picture of a rooster sometimes flies inside a mosquito or sand a leaf or distant howl of a creature disappears after inspecting the rooms through windows or cracks daily sunbeam and it goes on for years a storm found this shack ripped its door raised up to sky shatters and spiders and luck leaving a lot of sand someone else’s things and that faded picture of a rooster
