About The Artwork
“Sleeping cat on a red blanket” is one of my favorite pastel paintings. I really love pets and I am happy to make them participants in my paintings. The composition of the painting is based on contrasts of color and form. The dynamics of the red and white stripes contrasts interestingly with the furry body of a cat. The cat sleeps serenely in its natural feline pose. This is drawn from nature in pastel technique on paper :)
