ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Drawing the motif from reality to transpose it into a pure game of black lines, which quiver in the light and suggest the third dimension. I love Paris and its suburb and especially the rhythm of chimneys and zinc roofs. I love to depict unknown places, like this suburb called Ivry. I think about architecture, industrial buildings, just built right next to houses and polluting the atmosphere of the inhabitants. How can we change for an ecological urbanism and get the city greener? Drawing with a 3D pen simplify the shapes and this technique allows them to be "in the air" and plays with light and shadow.
