About The Artwork
I was studying Carl Jung at the time of this drawing, and was keeping a dream journal. The dream was vivid in detail, colour and sound. I was flying above the ground of New Zealand and watched as the hills rumbled and opened up revealing fossils, roots, shells and layers of substrate and soil colours. Sadly three days after this dream Christchurch experienced the devastating 2011 earthquake.
