REVELATIONS Drawing

This very large detailed ink drawing was inspired by my reading of the book of revelations. It is based on my vivid visions as i had seen while reading and picturing the destruction and pain evoked through the words. They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. And out of the smoke, locusts descended on the earth, and they were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth. Painstakingly illustrated over a period of 12 or more months,using ink and pen, acrylic paint and felt tip pen. Revelations has been exhibited on two occasions in Galleries in Sydney, Australia in 2010 and 2011 with many offers from the audience to purchase the work which I refused to sell, I am now reluctant yet willing to let this one of a kind collectors dream to be sold.
