Soul Shine Drawing

I'm a wife to my best friend, mother to our very large crew and grand mother to 5 at the age of 36. I was born and raised in East Tennessee right at the foothills of the Smokey Mountains. From an early age I was interested in art and creating my own. I had two huge inspirations growing up, my uncles Ricky and David. Other than studying their paintings and drawings and high school art class I am a self taught artist. My interest and works have a wide range of mediums and style. It could be charcoal on paper one day and the next acrylics on an antique car door. However lately I have found my interest being Abstract Portraits on Canvas using mixed media, mostly charcoals and acrylics. I have an extensive back ground in Photography, specializing in Boudoir. I gave up my business several years ago after I married my Husband, we travel extensively with his career and normally are not in the same place for any longer than 2 years. Photography has now taken a backseat to my Painting.
