A Group of Ducks Installation

I am Shenglian Lin, I represent my son Chen Zequan, a young artist to display his art works here. As Zequan loves art very much and would like to share his experience and art works with international audience of art lovers and collectors. Chen Zequan was born in 2010 in Xiamen China. Now he is a 9-year-old primary school student in grade three. He draws every day and paints every week. When he was three years old, one day his father saw him with coat hangers leaning against his knee and bends them, twisting the hook, and then putting them on the ground one by one, calling them a group of ducks stand in a queue and whisper to one another. At that time, his father was surprised by a kind of works that pure thinking collides with minimalism and conceptual art. "I'm very happy today, and I want to paint another one," Chen Zequan often said after painting. In the process of continuous painting experience, he use time to record the movement track of thinking and the imagination of the world; unrestrained, free and infinite vitality are vividly displayed in his painting color. As well as the use of materials and the transformation of forms are the basis for him to maintain the high mood, and also the means to obtain a happy mood. "Every child is an artist." Picasso once said. Yes, Chen Zequan felt the world with his heart, painted his colorful childhood with his brush, and captured the story in his thinking movement with his brush strokes. Every piece of painting is his growth track in the process of discovering, perceiving and expressing himself, and it is also a kind of thinking movement track. His art is pure and perceptual. It is the comprehensive expression of childishness, childlike innocence, child's simplicity and interesting. It is the expression of what he thinks and wants. Each piece of works has emotion, which can make each of our audience marvel and excitement. It may be that the pure childlike innocence and infinite imagination of children have conquered us.
