An investigation of layers. Years of wallpaper are scraped off a wall. Layers of colour and textures. But also layers of stories, of lives, people and their history. I encourage the viewer to come close and look closer into my work to find out what's hidden between each layer. By looking in the mirror they'll be confronted with their own story and life.

I'm an emerging artist specialising in sculpture and mixed media installations. I like to explore 'the beauty of the broken'. I'm intrigued by decay, corrosion, broken glass or rotten wood. I want to know the history of the object and the life they have lived. I believe that these elements carry a beauty in them that gets often overlooked. I try to recreate this in my art often with actual lost and found objects but also sometimes by creating an illusion of age and decay.
