Nacer Installation

I created this artist book as a result of experimenting with hand made paper, suminagashi and collage on wet cotton pulp. The idea of "Nacer" (Being Born) comes from the idea that nothing is permanent. "We are Heraclitus river", as Borges said. In the back part of the artist book I added fragments from Heraclitus in Ancient Greek. I found that I had written these fragments in the back of "Four quartets", by T. S. Eliott. The idea of no chronological time, but a time of being that is always present also inspired me in this work.
