About The Artwork

"NYC Trio" is a Digital Video Projection Installation created by Mikhail Torich at his NYC lab in 2018. Artwork projects images of disturbed Artist's eyes and moving lips projected on three-dimensional plastic forms. Current work is rotating around the fundamentals of multi-culturalism, immigration and social studies. MFA in multimedia design, Torich is an active member of international experimental cinema and interactive live-mix videoart scene, having produced and performed interactive videoart installations and shows in Berlin, St. Petersburg (Russia), New York City, Hudson (New York) and man more. Scope of his work is highly technological - and thus, always progressing and improving due to ongoing technical progress - yet one major fundament remains the same - exploring human senses and diversity of Race, Gender, Cultural Background and Inequality in live digital video transformations.
