About The Artwork
A video animation projected on the painting of Pazyryk. The Pazyryk rug is one of the oldest carpets in the world, dating around 5th c. BC. It was found in 1949 in the grave of a Scythian nobleman in the Bolshoy Ulagan dry valley of the Altai Mountains. The Pazyryk rug had been frozen in the ice and it was very well preserved. The rug has a ribbon pattern in the middle and being produced either in Ancient Persia or Armenia. The idea is about memories and giving life to history. I often breeds from my own Iranian socio-cultural interaction placing them to my present research and study base environment.
