The Nerium Installation

The Blossoms Everyday we meet different people, Most go unnoticed... some leave their mark for a long time & few we can never forget ... It is this few people, who inspire me to create...I blend their influencing personalities with my love for the flora & fauna. The Blossoms is inspired by my favorite people... beautiful, charming, determined, strong and striking yet very soft and caring, kind and giving, a little rough around the edges. Each flower representing a person of value... The Nerium, it’s been an inspiration to a range of well known artists ... from Vincent Van Gogh to Gustav Klimt, to having been the successful survivor to tremendous hazardous pressure. It makes me wonder how can a flower so delicate so fragile so tiny be the first blossom after the atomic tragedy over Hiroshima.
