The coins of 52 pence and 48 pence Part of exhibition 'YiMiao Shih: Rabbrexit Means Rabbrexit', an embroidered satire on Brexit, House of Illustration, London. 1. 'Found coin of 48 pence, engraving on fossilised rabbit bone fragments, mounted on fur of Rabbitus Emeraldis, only tiny bit smaller than the size of British 50 pence coin, date unknown.' The 48 pence coin is believed to be created for memorising the result of referendum: that 48% voters went against the expulsion of UK rabbits, known as 'Rabbrexit'. The design on the front side of coin includes a rabbit sitting alone on the dinning table, like in the painting 'The Last Supper' by Leonardo da Vinci, with empty glasses and plates, saluting its former friends around him - the party is over. 2. It is said in the event of Rabbrexit, a heroic figure riding on the back of horse with article 50 written on top, taming a rabbit that demands UK economic and political sacrifices; then rescue the lady-like figure in Union Jack dress as the next offering.
