About The Artwork
I am sketching and painting these contemporary profiles inspired by the dark side of our human mind. Maybe they can work like a mirror for everyone (like for me) to frankly recognize the personal dark side. Following an holistic vision of the mind which perceives the mystery inside and beyond oneself. It is too much fun for me to do it. I choose the medium and the materials according to the expressivity of the subjects. I choose the best quality of mediums and materials because I respect your choice and our life space. This work is composed by 5 little portraits placed in circular found objects. Each subject is dialoguing with itself and with the other subjects gazes simultaneously, through a game of mirrors. The size of the pieces is: 8x8x2.5 - 9x9x2.5 - 12x12x2.5 -12x12x2.5 - 12x12x2.5 cm.
