UP Installation

The installation "UP" closely relates to the existing spatial situation of the gallery and at the same time condenses it. In the form of an organic double loop, an inner body runs through the room, creating a clearly defined external space through its expansive outer dimensions. The enormous size of this form in relation to the gallery space brings the visitor into an immediate experience with the surrounding space. The path along the installation must already be opened up by entering your own direction. An apparent way out of this limited space is provided by a black circular field on the back, invisible wall of the room. In this suggested non-space there is again a connection to the exhibition space. It creates an imaginary counter space to the installation object and the "white cube" of the gallery.
