Project" Code " There is a war in our country. Using a camouflage net as a basis and Ukrainian cross-stitch as an artistic tool, we create a kind of amulets. Traditional color combinations speak for themselves: white is a symbol of purity and holiness, red is life, love, beauty; black is earth. Embroidery is a magical ritual, the ability to convey one’s perception of the world, internal energy encoded in ornaments that become protection against evil spirits, and patterns with sacred codes, prayers without words. The installation used symbols of Ukrainian geometric ornaments: “The Tree of Life” is a symbol of new life, embodies the unity of the whole world. "Earth" is a symbol of fertility, a sown field. “Skull” is a symbol of fearlessness in the face of death.
