About The Artwork
I am calling it " Beautiful Tulip." I started cutting natural colors of wood and put them like a puzzle together. The first time I’ve worked with golden leaf & I loved the antique look on the background. 15 "x18", mixed-media artwork made with a variety of natural colors of wood (Maple, African Blackwood, Red bloodwood, Pistachio, Medid), Oyster shell (Green & white colors used for her Eyes), and golden leaves (background) The piece is coming with a beautiful FRAME!

Each individual piece of wood is cut by hand scroll saw, then all the woods come together carved by handmade tools by himself, sanded and then polished with a glossy spray to bring out the beautiful color of wood, often incorporating oyster, glass, canvas and charcoal pencil.
