Believe Artwork

This mixed media artwork created on canvas board invites viewers to explore their own beliefs and consider how woven together, yet abstract they truly are. It is a visual metaphor for the fragile yet powerful nature of what we decide to believe. To believe is to give trust or credit to an idea, principle, or statement without concrete proof of its validity. It is an act of faith that something is true or real, even when not entirely supported by facts. Belief lies at the very core of human existence. From the moment we are born, we begin to believe - in our own sense perceptions, in our connection to caregivers, in concepts like object permanence. As we grow, we come to believe in broader ideas that shape our understanding of the world. At their best, beliefs open minds rather than close them. They inspire hope, compassion and moral progress.
