36"x24" LIMITED EDITION ARTIST SIGNED AND NUMBERED PRINT Note: In addition to the digital signature located in the border, this limited edition print also includes a discreet 'hand written' signature and edition number by the artist that can be found in the main artwork area. The illustration is printed on Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper or equivalent. The print is carefully rolled, bagged and delivered securely in a rigid tube container. SUBJECT MATTER The name says it all. A fantasy landscape depicting an upside down and inverted ski resort located right in the middle of the ocean. This piece will likely reveal details long after it is hung on your wall. ABOUT JAMES MULVANIA My artwork has been described as peaceful, fresh, surreal, wild, weird and even musical. My diversity reflects an interest in exploring new ways to conceptualize and complete a piece of work regardless of whether it has traditional or digital origins. Constantly using both mediums has shaped the way I process information and apply it. Regardless of whether or not a piece of my work is realistic, abstract or something in between, it will often present a peaceful or disturbing view of this or perhaps another world. A BIT ABOUT MY ARTISTIC PROCESS I have been creating artwork using both traditional and digital media for several years. The nature of the media and the tools used is not important to me as long as I am able to complete a piece of artwork that I feel is compelling. Typically with the majority of my artwork, I don't have a specific finished image in my mind in regard to what I want a piece to look like. I just begin drawing, painting or both and it seems as though the subject matter begins to create itself. Eventually, I see 'conscious' ways to improve it even further. EDUCATION: I have completed two Bachelor degrees and am pursuing my Masters. In regard to all three, I have focused on learning how to create new forms of visual communication by integrating fine arts and multimedia development.
