One of a series of three wall hangings. "Best of Luck" reminds me of laurels worn by Greek athletes or olive branches as symbols of peace. Embroidered, batiked, quilted and dyed this piece, like others in the series, emphasizes the flowing, unruly nature of fiber art and cloth. I want the cloth to speak, to be irregular and bunch up, to have life.
