About The Artwork

DECAY is over 200 individually made polymer clay skulls and bones on hardboard finished with acrylic paints and weathered. It is meant to evoke emotions of not only death and decay but the passing of time, weather and erosion. It was featured in the 2022 Movie "Altered Perceptions" and is #2 in the series of 4 from the movie. It was inspired loosely by Rodins "Gates of Hell" and the catacombs of Paris. I have always had a fascination with skulls and bones in painting and sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Growing up in Santa Fe New Mexico exposed me to amazing art at a very young age, in particular Georgia O'Keeffe and Salvador Dali had lasting impressions on me. My love of skulls and bones comes from living in the harsh desert landscape and the life and death struggles within it. My work obviously has the element of death in it but I try and expand on that through patterns, chaos and commonality.
