Here is the second in the series of windows of the MC5. Denis "Machine Gun" Thompson drummer extrodinaire. The window, like the first one, measures 13 inches wide and 18 inches tall. If you are in the area, stop in at the Raven Coffee House where this and the first are hanging. As always your feedback and comments are most welcome. The MC5 was Detroits band and the house band at the Grande Ballroom. They are credited for being the first Heavy Metal and Punk Rock band.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 31, 1950. I currently work in oils but have also worked in water colors and stained glass.I currently live in rural Michigan but spent the majority of my life living in Detroit. I have always been conscious of social conditions and the environment around me. I try to reflect my feelings about these issues in my paintings. I feel art, should among other things, stir ones conscious toward issues that impact their fellows.
