About The Artwork
He's your crazy Uncle or Grandfather with only two gold teeth. He isn't beautiful, but he loves "The Beautiful Game" and you gotta love that. All the best to coach Ted Lasso and the lads at AFC Richmond in season three. This is a collaboration with the Artist Antonio Rodriguez. It started with a self portrait photo, which is why I belong behind the camera, not in front of it. Antonio then drew a character portraiture, on acetate, which was photo imaged onto a silk screen. Then I hand painted the colors in and threw down the black ink through the silk screen to capture Antonio's line drawing. A collaboration is like soccer. It requires teamwork and knowing when to pass the ball.
