Original painting on iPad and photo manipulation. I chose colors from nature not digital pallet. High quality real photo (not ink jet) print of this Original New album Medium painted Art work, is facemounted to 1/8" Plexiglass and then a aluminium backing is attached to the back (for strength and appearance). Then a metal sub frame is attached to the back for easy hanging . The finished print is frameless and floats off the wall (3cm from the wall) for a clean contemporary look. Ed. 1+AP Size up to 60"x60" for additional fee. Please allow 3-4 weeks for Ed. to be sent. There is no such thing as Original Digital, so in this case by purchasing this edition of the digital/New Media Art work/painting, the buyer becomes the owner of this art piece, but does not acquire any right of reproduction, distribution or pyublication. I studied fine arts at the University of Oklahoma, 1980-1984, I found myself creating with oil paints, gathering leaves from fall foliage and spray painting them sporadically, designing minimalist furniture and carving and building with my own hands. There was no limit to my medium, tools, or inspiration. Years later, I continued to push my limits after acquiring a ceramic art studio. I learned the challenges of painting watercolor-like strokes with ceramic paint, while maintaining the piece’s integrity through the glazing and firing process. Several years of crafting ceramics with different textures and gentle, ethereal strokes, my attention turned to modernizing my art and translating my now unique style and sense into plexiglass wall art pieces that truly define a room. I enjoy turning my index finger into a paintbrush that I use to swipe across a touch screen to create vibrant paintings. This process has finally helped me settle into the exact creative I always wanted to be.
