Like everything in nature, humans also have their own scents. Scents that are actually not bad at all. The latter has been learned. This work of art indicates the close bond with nature. The complication that can make a person quite stoned and high without the harmful effects that our synthetic brews do. The color palette of this work is "ton sur ton" as the French say, with the only accent being the red-colored toenails, which should also indicate the center of attention of the work. But between the figure's foot and nose there is a plastic sheet, which makes smelling impossible. This sheet symbolizes the current manipulability syndrome that humanity now finds itself in. People think they are progressive, but the opposite seems to be true. The full title of this artwork is: 'Giving off its own pungent aromas that contributes to the smell of fall'

Born the 31 of July 1964, Stephan B. Reisig lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.Stephan B. Reisig (57) is a painter who has lately been drawing mostly with colored pencils on paper. Sometimes he uses mixed techniques like charcoal/pencil and acrylic paint on paper. The style can be described as realism with a certain aspect of alienation and depersonalization of the depicted individual which gives it an urban anonymity. In his newest series he wants to achieve to express the pureness of used materials and the pureness and directness of the depicted (human/ animal) forms trough painting. And drawing, straight on the canvas. But mostly on paper. http://www.behance.net/gallery/Illustrations-Stephan-B-Reisig/12728531 www.stephanreisig.com / www.lama-topart.nl/catalog_showdetail.asp?type_id=&cat_id=&artist_id=42&
