About The Artwork

Guest No. 4:Mrs. Alice, the Butler's Wife. Mrs. Alice, who is known as the butler's wife, often comes to inquire whether I have seen her husband. She never enters my world, merely lingering on the doorstep, peering around as if to ensure no traces of her husband are present and that I am not concealing him somewhere, perhaps behind a closet. Her demeanor is always sad and melancholic, for she has been on the quest for her spouse for many centuries. Ironically, it's such a sorrow that she herself has never been married. “What Dreams May Come” is an art project by Oleg Gant. I live and works in Northern Europe, in Lithuania. The project includes two lines “Guests” and “Far Rainbow”. The art series "Guests" is inspired by thoughts that come to me. Often unexpectedly, sometimes I am glad to have them, sometimes I wish they would leave my World sooner. But I am always happy to see them, my Guests are so diverse. Do you recognize them too? My works are inspired by great artists such as Matisse with his vivid colors, and early sci-fi writers like Ray Bradbury, Stanislaw Lem, and the Strugatsky brothers. They have filled my life with unusual worlds, adventures, and romance. I now weave these myriad influences into the tapestry of my art. I work by mixing different techniques and media. All works are unique. By acquiring my pieces, you not only obtain art that will adorn your home or office—a valuable work of art—but you also support me as an artist. For this, I am sincerely grateful. The video is provided solely for the purpose of demonstrating the artwork creation process in the 'What Dreams May Come' project. Hello, my friends. I am Oleg Gant, an artist and photographer. I live and work in Northern Europe, in Lithuania. I specialize in the style of emotional abstraction. Through my work, I reinterpret and visualize in paintings our journey through life. Experiences, joys, and sorrows, encounters and losses, hopes, and the search for the best within ourselves. I paint dreams and hopes. Each piece of my artwork poses a question that each of us has asked ourselves at some point, as well as the answer to that question. And each time, it's a new question and a new answer. My art is constantly exhibited at various exhibitions and wins various photo and art competitions. All my art presented here is original and unique and is intended for art connoisseurs and collectors.
