Hailstorm lashes coastal village These days everywhere you hear the same thing. “All these natural catastrophes that are presently taking place around the world seem to be the result of the change in the world’s climate that is hovering over our heads.” Whatever may be the real reason but recently when I was on my summer vacations, while safe in my brick and concrete hotel room I was the horrified witness of the havoc wrested on this small coastal village of mud houses by the terrifying and violent hailstorm that had passed overhead the previous night. A sight that inspired the creation of an edition of two prints using the new media digital method. The artwork for each of the two prints of this edition is presented in the grouping of three panels. The first and topmost panel being a paper size of 65 X 48 cm with the image 60 X 41.5 cm. and of the other two panels the paper of each is 32.5 x 48 cm. and the image on each is 30 x 41.5 cm.

Born 1954 India Now have my art studio in Angers in France.Have been painting and etching for more than 25 years.My inspiration comes from my working experience with S.W.Hayter and other contemperory artists like Krishna Reddy. Now do mainly digital works like painting and printmaking. For this I have developed a new form of new media prints using digitalized technique and maroufled onto a heavy art paper of at least 300 gms. After the transfer by marouflage of the printed artwork onto the heavy art paper it is once again worked on by the artist to obtain the art effect and printed in a limited edition of 8 prints + 1 artist's proof, with signature and number. The paintings also are digital works on art paper that has been maroufled onto a canvas that is signed by me. All work is done by me in my personal art studio in Angers in France. The work is mostly inspired from my ramblings in the countryside and the sensation or feelings thus produced which I try to share with the spectators of my works.
