I made a copper flame painting from a photo taken by a friend during her trip to Everest base camp. It is a copper sheet glued to a wooden gallery-type panel, equipped with fasteners ready for installation on a wall.

The painting was worked with an angle grinder before being flame painted, the flame painting technic is, no paint no chemical, using only the heat of a torch. The tree is superimposed and gives a relief effect.

The photos are not representative of the real beauty of this work. Because the copper has been previously textured before coloring, the hues vary and the surface seems to change colors depending on the angle of view or lighting of the painting.
Finally I applied 3 layers of polymer as color protection.
