About The Artwork
The work attempts to capture life, light, sound, and movement on a painted surface. The concept celebrates the beauty and wonder of the natural world through evocative colour, form and texture. The expressions of sunlight, the rain from clouds, and the sounds of nature are abstracted into graphic vibrations. The aesthetic is inspired by the abstract paintings of Gerhard Richter and the sound composition Light Over Water by John Adams.

I have produced creative works for high profile museums and galleries including the V&A and the RA, London. Recent MA study in Art and Design has taken my practice in a typographic/pop-cultural direction. I will continue to develop the work through visual experimentation to produce art that communicates the artistic intention to the viewer in a visually compelling manner.
