About The Artwork
The solo female alone in a storm represents a women's power to stand strong and walk along through a turbulent time. The reflective road and vibrant blues fade away farter from her illustrating her inner light or guiding light shining out. Several watercolors are layered first with charcoal and graphite over top. Layering adds dimension and depth to the overall piece. Deep dark blacks were chosen around the umbrella to give hint at the night and the dark that surrounds the women's light.
