About The Artwork

This sculptural painting is part of cycle Metamorphosis of Nature, made by handmade recycled paper and acrylic on wood panel, has exhibited at the City Lodge, National Museum Zadar. In her paintings, the author argues and explores the (co)existence between human beings and nature, as well as different aspects of the nature – its metamorphosis, regeneration and adaptability – in response to the constant exploitation and destruction of precious natural resources. She creates the paintings by carefully modeling and constructing round-shaped structures from discarded material – paper. First she recycles it, then uses the papier mache technique and glues it to wooden panels. Dimensions of the work are H 65 x W 35 x D 15 cm. Painting has depth of 15 cm processed as a front side of the painting.
