The works included in this box-object belong to the series titled “Links”. These are 3 pieces taken from the aforementioned series, in which I intend to establish a strong link between photography and painting, relating the photographic technique with the plasticity of painting. Studying the various series of photographs that I have taken over the years, I have wanted to base myself fundamentally on the chromatic masses that inhabit such photographs, truly abstracting from the photographed motifs. Thus, I have prioritized the most cerebral compositions, choosing a visual reference as a support point (fulcrum), with geometry as a hinge, avoiding representing reality, but interpreting it, with flat colors. The stated objective is to create chromatic effects of space, accompanied by strong plastic vibrations, although sometimes using gradients and subtle textures, thereby making an obvious nod to the expressive capacity of color and achieving, at at the same time, a structured composition, always related to technology, inherent to our society. Not in vain, colors and shapes are the most outstanding means of painting, to materialize its content and thus make it fully accessible to the senses. On the other hand, the reduced chromatic ranges used, together with the strong contrast of the warm areas with the cold ones, represent - in our opinion - that unavoidable relationship between the human being and the intense technological evolution, giving rise to the viewer, in your aesthetic experience, create and strengthen that hermeneutical link with the work This object box or artist's book with box contains three signed and numbered reproductions that belong to the LINKS series.
