It took me weeks to find a photo online, and when I finally found one, I came up with nothing… Everything I drafted sucked. So I told mom I wasn’t going to have it finished in time. Then she sent me this photo of William Powell with Myrna Loy. Later I came up with this and I totally dig it. #mommaknowsbest — Came home Thursday and finished up the night before Christmas — 12 x 12. This is also available in 8 x 8 inches Photoshop, acrylic, latex"

Alex Tric is a Web Designer and Graphic Artist from New York. Born and raised in Huntington, NY (60 min east of New York City). Alex grew up in a middle class family surrounded by art and business. At age 17 he was diagnosed with astigmatism which is a vision disorder that prevents seeing lines as fine and colors as vibrant. Alex's designs tends to over compensate for these limitations by using strong contrasts and vibrant colors. His Today, Alex lives in New York City. He mainly finds inspiration from his childhood, history, and pop culture. He works mainly with spray paint, acrylic, marker, print, and photoshop.
