Made you Laugh was created on a South African Navigation Chart of Hottentot Point to Chamais Bay. Made you laugh Made you laugh Laughter is beautiful. It is the voice of your soul. Laughter brings joy. It connects you to others. Laughter allows you to be present-time focused. It calms, de-stresses, and reminds you of lightness even in the midst of darkness. Laughter is, I believe, a spiritual practice because when you laugh, you connect for that moment with the joy that is who you truly are in your soul and when you laugh with others, it connects your soul to theirs. The seagull is a reminder to find your voice and be fearless when speaking your mind. Don’t worry about being considered “too loud.” Your voice is needed.

Im a female artist from Cape Town, South Africa. I have been painting for the last 20 years, with no formal art education. My journey started with a box of Vintage Dress Patterns which was turned into a skirt on a metal wired Mannequin and from there to canvas. I have sold many pieces all over the world like Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Madagascar, San Francisco, New York etc. I have exhibited in London at the Art of Africa Gallery. Currently Im working with good old fashion Brown Paper and Vintage Navigation Charts. I only sketch woman and make use of pencils, charcoal and Acrylic paint.
