About The Artwork

Contemporary and minimalistic watercolor on 100% cotton Arches paper. The artist uses the possibilities of the medium to create abstract and elusive compositions. This is what is highly appreciated in modern watercolor - as simplicity is one of the most difficult things. This is one of my favourite places in Capri Island. That day it was sunny an so many boats in the bay... beautiful.. the view was breath- taking, I converted these memories in the watercolor. All prints are printed in a professional photo workshop. High-quality fine art canvas made of natural fiber with a pronounced texture was used for printing. Include an additional 5 cm /1,96" edge on each side for stretching – include the certificate of authenticity; – shipped ROLLED, no frame I'm happy to print other sizes and proceed through Singular. Please contact manager for purchase.

Hi, my name is Dina, I am an artist based in Turkey. I live near the sea, this is my favorite subject which I paint almost every day. I love the nature and try to convey different atmosphere, energy and state. I love to pass this perception of the world to other people. I am greatly inspired by impressionism and expressionism, but I like working in my unique style. I started to paint with watercolor when I was 2 years old, since then it became my great passion and one of my favorite mediums. After formal education which I got at Voronezh Art School and Stroganov Art Academy, I continued to explore possibilities of watercolor, different styles and techniques, moving from the classical concept of painting to more elusive and expressionistic one. Of course I tried oil and pastel, when I finally discovered acrylics. This medium combines the possibilities of watercolor and oil and gives me a wide field for experiments. When I paint I observe the subject trying to catch the state and color, the very core of what I see. I noticed that the state of nature is deeply connected with the way people feel and act. I try to live in these states, remember and transfer them through the paintings. I love sailing and I spend a huge amount of my time in the sea. I notice shades and colors, it is alway different. The water, the light and the sea are an infinite source of inspiration for me. I hope you will enjoy my art and I will manage to transfer to you what I experience.
