NYC ABSTRACTS 78-EMPIRE is inspired by the Art Deco Empire State Building that was the tallest building in the world when built in 1930 on 34th Street and Fifth Avenue. It is the iconic symbol of New York City that brings millions of tourists to the Big Apple each year for the New Year Eve celebration and July 4th Independence Day. I always remember seeing it when my grandmother took me to Macy's and she'd point it out to me.
