About The Artwork
"New Raincoat And Bow" is inspired by my love of pets and all the pets I've had especially one pet in particular who loved a new coat, bow and loved to be fussed over. What pet owner doesn't love the walks together with their pet, thru fields, flowers, the rain! This piece is made with all Recycled Materials designed and machine stitched onto card stock as a statement for my love of the earth, nature, pets and humanity and include: plastic envelope which makes up tail and part of bodice, clear plastic bag which is top layer of coat, tulle which is bow, and scrap fabrics. I painted flowers, rain, backdrop with acrylic paints and added two layers of non-toxic sealant on the piece. I added backing with non-toxic fabric adhesive which also serves to adhere machine stitching further. Certificate of Authenticity is included and Shipped according to Saatchi Art guidelines.
