Nocturne Artwork - Limited Edition of 10

"Nocturne" is a mixed media digital painting which I created by combining digital painting with traditionally painted elements I made with acrylic paint. The final piece was completed by combining the different elements as a digital composition which is printed on gallery quality archival paper, measuring 20" x 16" with no border, in a limited edition of 10. *This is Limited Edition number 1 of 10* "Nocturne" began as another piece that was abandoned. Almost a year later, I returned to the piece and changed the palette drastically to much cooler, darker tones, to reflect my mood at that particular time. The female figure is not meant to be representative of anyone, but is a personification of night. My art is an expressive outlet in which I seek to evoke a sense of transitory human experience and invite the viewer to have their own subjective impression. My process is generally achieved through digital painting or drawing, which is often merged with other elements I create using traditional media and/or other materials such as acrylic painting, ink, coffee stains, torn paper, etc. The print is titled, signed and numbered on the reverse side. It will be packed and shipped in a tough dent resistant tube.
